C32 Snow Blower for RERs
As with the push blade, the strong steel frame on the 60 allowed it to mount a snow blower. This one was smaller than the ones used on the bigger tractors, 32 inches compared to 36. This means nothing except for the auger bearings can be interchanged between this and the bigger ones.
The one we have is in pretty sad shape. All we have is the blower housing, gearbox, auger, chute, and that's about it. These piece are is fairly nice shape and look like they have never been used, though. Making the connecting pieces to attach it to the frame would be difficult with no reference, so it looks like I'll have to wait until I get another complete one. Another problem is unlike the push blade, you need the bumper accessory in order to mount it. Those are also hard to come by, but those will probably turn up before another blower does.
Update on another blower we have acquired. This one is New Old Stock and complete. It is just a little rusty on the bottom, but in otherwise perfect shape. It is currently mounted on the 75 since that is the only Cadet with an early front bumper needed to mount the blower. I will make a separate page with pictures of the set up soon.
I have only seen 1 other one of these in person. It was for sale at a show and looked complete and brand new, but I had spent my money on other things at the show and have not been able to contact the seller to see if he still has it.
If you would happen to have one, I would like to hear about it!
